I don't know. sometimes if you have more than one item thats the same you take pictures of one and usaully state that the item may not be the one in picture. being as they are from another country who knows? contact them i think ones out of the office?
They are both long time members you just really need to contact them and ask why both have the same serial number. could be contected in some way. I don't know how stars did their serial number.

I know the old saying that the value of an opinion is generally inversely proportional to the strength with which it is held.

      like, example:

I've been to Korea, and its like that, then its a giant "Guitar City." In Korea u have "districts' of just one kind of shop. Example electronics and guitars fill up 4 blocks worth. They probably have one photographer, and lister. Then they get multiple people from those stores (inside is like a giant swap meet but way better) and whoever sells it gets the commission. Thats what they did over there and Japan and Korea have mirroring ways of doing things in the city.

https://youtu.be/5dEIebZ0fpo Yep, I was correct. In Tokyo, u got "Guitar Street" which is an entire district dedicated to musical instruments. Almost positive they treat it like a car dealership and whoever sells get the commission. Instead of splitting up the guitar stores in different areas, its all in one spot, so therefore, its communal.

This is why one seller will sell out and the others won't. They actually don't have it, they just didnt get the update yet! Yea i also saw basically a "Jeff Hanneman" soloist that sold only 734.00. Totally was into that! I prefer the Jackson feel over the LTD signature. All the other ones always have rosewood, that had ebony.

ya know I kinda figured it was something along those lines. why do you think they have different prices tho? wouldn't you expect them all to be the same?

Did you measure the neck with a caliper? What's its thickness now?

Nah, because they are all from different shops inside sharing one large plaza/building. Each one of those guys want a different commission amount, and most of these Japanese guys way overpriced these things to begin with. Only a few I've seen recently are priced fairly.

Asians are in a "HIVE MINDSET" not all of them, but certain Asian cultures. They feel that by sharing the listing, the guitar has a better chance to sell. But then where they branch off and disagree is what the value is. They seem to compete against each other and the price keeps inflating lol..

You can get those Grover Jackson’s and Jackson Stars sometimes cheaper if you hunt down the actual seller in Japan rather than the brokers that don’t own the inventory. I’m often tempted but it doesn’t seem they know much about the condition with the vague descriptions and then there’s the risk of ordering from overseas... I’ll leave it for those of you more brave than me.

ITS A FENDER THICKNESS! The same as all the other Pro soloist, the radius is taller. it's more round than my MIJ's and USA's. fuck I wish people would quit thinking these things are any different than one another. they are all the same, with very slight if any variations! I can play it, it will just be better slimmer. But of course there's always the off chance that some little Indo man got up one bright and sunny morning, tripped over all his relatives on the way out the door to work, decided "hey" I'm going to go in and instead of doing the light sanding of tool marks , i'm going to really custom shop these babies and everyone got one but me. oh, and all the QC indicators didn't work that day either.

I mean this one seems like a decent price, no? Esp if I offer him $500 or something.

Sites that allow you to bid in the Japan auctions directly. Such services do also add extra fees, but it may be cheaper than the super over inflated duplicate broker tax prices you see littering up eBay results. Do I sound bitter? I am.
